The Oort Cloud extense around our solar system as a sphere that reaches between 1.5 and 2.5 light years away. Where the Earth resides is centered around our Sun, in the blue inner few pixels of the above graph.
Bernards Star, currently over 8 light years away, will skirt the outer regions of the Oort Cloud in 10,000 years. The Solar system will also enter the G-Cloud region in the same time frame. It is unknown if the nearest star system, Proxima Centauri, a red dwarf at 4.2 light years and part of a triple star system Alpha and Beta Centauri at 4.6 light years, has a surrounding cloud or analogus Oort Cloud.
Even Kobe University indicates a planet that is the 80% the size of Earth, in the outer regions of the solar system. The planet is on an inclined orbit.
There is the theoretical "Nemisis" or Sol B, that reside in the Oort Cloud (see below). Now in 1.5 million years, Glieses 710 will enter the Oort Cloud and could lead to modifications within the distribution of comets in the regions that are affected by the gravitation influences of Glieses 710. Try to visualize two or more Oort Clouds, side beside.
